Orgtober, formerly known as October, is our new big month of education with activities, activations and events all dedicated to promoting organ donation among children, teachers and families the world over.
Do your students know just how incredible their bodies really are? Let’s start by looking under the hood, discovering where our mighty organs are, why they’re amazing and what each part really does. We’ll also introduce kids to the concept of organ donation.
We’ve created the ultimate list of healthy habits all kids everywhere need to know. Combined with research-backed insights on how to form habits, we’ll show you how to guide the kids under your care toward a lifetime of healthy living.
Anything healthy grows and brings life to others. That’s why we move beyond just looking at ourselves in this toolkit, to showing how we can work together to make the world a healthier, happier and kinder place.
From ready-to-go lesson plans and presentations to worksheets, posters and more… everything you need to make your lessons super-memorable is right here waiting for you.
Our early learning posters are a fantastic and effective way to decorate any room and create an enriching environment for children in their foundational years, typically ranging from 3 to 6 years old.
Whether you’re a young person on a solo mission, a school or class of students, or a determined family or community, we need everyone—young and old—to help spread the message of the mighty Orgamites. The more conversations we start and the more people share their choices about organ and tissue donation, the more lives we can ultimately save. If you have a project or story you’d like to share, we’d love to hear from you—and feature it on our news page too!
We’d love to hear about your experience with the Mighty Education Program. How did it impact your students, school, and the community?
Your feedback is invaluable in helping us improve the program for future users.
Do let us know if you think there’s anything missing or if there are ways we can make it even better.
IN PARTNERSHIP WITH
The Orgamites® Mighty Education Program is a global organ donation and health education program for kids aged 5-11. It uses educational resources, tools, toys, and tech to inspire and equip more students, teachers, and families everywhere to talk more about organ donation, and to take better care of their bodies, each other, and our world. Brought to life by a team of life-saving organs found in each one of us, the Orgamites® are also known as the ‘mighty organs’ because they represent the organs most needed for donation and transplantation. Focused on empowering children (via the grown-ups in their lives) to become captains of their own health, the Orgamites® Mighty Education Program aims to address some of the most critical health crises facing the next generation (as identified by the World Health Organisation). Our partners include Live Life Give Life, the Onassis Foundation, Canadian Blood Services, Team Margot, Giving to Help Others, Northern Ireland Donation, the Public Health Agency, the British Transplant Society and European Society for Organ Transplantation (ESOT). Supported by NHS Blood and Transplant, Organ Donation England, Wales and Scotland. Official partner of the ESOT Congress in London, 2025
